  • flap has a rounded peak and straight sides;
  • two boxed slogans with decorations in the corners for "BE PROUD ..." and "PLAY SAFE ...".

Used at a US Army Post Office.
8 December 1943.

Characteristics:

  • form number T.G. 65A in small letters;
  • "G" in the heading has no horizontal bar;
  • window does not extend to the outside border;
  • thick border around window;
  • plain box around first slogan and the slogans on the reverse are unboxed. These changes appear to have been made in 1943;
  • security pattern shows NATIONAL through the window and has MADE IN AUSTRALIA near the join.

Characteristics:

  • has form number in the top left corner;
  • advertisement is for "INVEST IN THE FUTURE ...";
  • lower slogan is for "SAVE ALL ...";
  • both "G"s in the heading have a horizontal bar;
  • one slogan on the front and both slogans on the reverse are boxed with thin lines and small decorations in each corner;
  • window extends to borders at sides and below;
  • window and border 32 mm high;
  • thin border around window.

This format is also known with SAVE ALL WASTE PAPER as the 2nd slogan.

  • thick border around window;
  • window extends to the outside border;
  • both slogans introduce post-war strategies with the emphasis on VICTORY BONDS - they are SAFEGUARD YOUR FUTURE ... and
    LET'S FINISH THE JOB ...;
  • plain box around the first slogan while the second slogan is unboxed;
  • security pattern shows NATIONAL through the window and has MADE IN AUSTRALIA near the join.
AW-EU-7F rev AW-EU-7F (reverse).

Flap has a rounded peak with slightly curved sides.

  • neither slogan is boxed;
